New Beginnings

I’ve been a digital shooter for a number of years starting with my Nikon D80, then moving on to the D700, and now shooting with the D3s. I have always been fascinated with film but could never bring myself about to use it. I have attempted shooting 35mm in the past but for the most part left it alone. This year I decided to conquer my fear of film and at the same time hopefully improve my photography. Most of the credit for this decision goes to my wonderful wife. So I purchased a used Hasselblad 503CX with an 80mm lens and a couple of 120 backs. Here are a few shots from the first couple of rolls.

  1. Good stuff! Having seen the others, I like the first one and the grain of the b&w.
I can’t tell too much on the screen, but is RPL giving better scans than Pandalab?
